The story of the birth of the beginning of
The Trees The Trees
Imagine a man. Well maybe a boy. Make it a man-boy. His name is Cam and he dreams of letting his hair blow wildly as a stadium of screaming fans belt his words of turmoil and angst back into his face. His guitar ringing out into the ether, he is sad and a little afraid of death. Leaving every ounce of himself on the stage, he is born again to rise from the ashes, a little emptier each time. We all end up in the same place, he thinks, I’ll get there first and light the way.

Imagine an old man. Really old. Maybe the oldest man to ever teach himself the drums. His name is Clint. Highly regarded man of medicine by day, slightly nappy by afternoon, and fucking rock star by night he embarrasses his kids so hard it’s cool again. Gristled hands and steely eyes that you just know have seen some shit, he is the master of the shaker, the king of the cowbell, the drummer extraordinaire. Pound, pound, crash, crash for 10,000 years, wake up and save all beings! And in that moment he was enlightened.

Imagine a beard, perfect in length, full with a little curl and just the right amount of grey amongst the black, always clean and smelling oh so nice. (You know you want to touch it). Now imagine the man behind the beard: chubby, tatted, and awesome. His name is Casey and he lives to make your insides shake. They say his heart is as big as his belly and his ass as hairy as his face, but the one thing that can never be unheard is that big bad bass. (Don’t touch someone’s face! That’s just gross, not cool).

Imagine three musicians playing different instruments and moving their bodies in a rhythmic fashion. Imagine you watching them watching you watching them. They are The Trees The Trees! From Boise, Idaho the land of potatoes and television, where the high dessert air is crisp and clear, Cam, Clint, and Casey spend their free time crafting, writing, jamming, and dreaming of their songs cutting through all the noise to reach your ears, to somehow break through all the chaos and create a connection with you. We truly hope we have shared in something special with you!
We thank you for your time and hope you’ll share us with those important to you, any little thing you can do to support us is one step closer to making our dreams come true!
